Ask The Luxe Nurse

Typical health coach training is anywhere from a few short hours to a few weeks of training. The Luxe Nurse ATL has over 8 years of education including education specific to chronic disease management, medication management, holistic wellness and nutrition. Along with all of the education, Asia also has over 16 years of clinical practice and experience of working with individuals and alongside doctors, growing her knowledge of many areas of understanding in health and wellness. She is currently in a graduate program for functional medicine and nutrition (caring for individuals at the core using nutrition, exercise and lifestyle modifications).
-
Asia has worked her way up from the beginning of the healthcare ladder where she began as a CNA, then progressed to a med tech, she received her LPN (licensed practical nurse), ADN (associate level registered nurse), and currently practices as a BSN (Bachelor level registered nurse). Asia has received her Public Health nurse certification. She has certifications currently and previously that include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC/CALS (trauma nursing), and infusion therapy/oncology. Once she completes her current studies she will practice as an APRN (advanced practice RN) in functional medicine and nutrition.

Through the Inquire button to join our private waitlist or through a referral from an existing client. We keep our client list intentionally small so every household gets real attention — which means access is limited. Bookings and private health information are shared through our HIPAA compliant client portal which is where you will schedule a consult or book a service.
-
You will spend up to an hour virtually (by phone or video- your preference) or in person speaking with your health advisor directly about your past, current and prospective medical history. A thorough conversation takes place to include all areas of your life and health to create a thorough picture of what your health has and currently looks like, as well as your health and wellness goals for the future. A plan will be created for helping you to create your optimal health lifestyle. Completely curated to what you actually need and want.

It can be as open or as discreet as you’d like. No signage, no uniforms or name tags in your lobby unless you want them, no records shared without your written consent. Discretion isn't an add-on here — it's the baseline.
-
Clients who want to take their health as serious as they take their finances. We are a service designed for individuals who prefer to have areas of their life neatly managed and given a condensed and collective “Reader’s Digest” version or those who want to take a deeper dive into their health and truly learn what it takes to be healthy.
-
Your information is only shared at your request for continuation of care or if there is a concern for your safety or the safety of another person as we are a mandated reporter. All other information is keep private and discreet between the provider and client.
-
No — and we'd be suspicious of anyone who claimed it was. Think of us as the layer between your physician visits: the person who catches what happens in the six months you're not in an exam room. A nurse visit is used for informative, educational and advocative benefits, not a primary care visit.

No-this is a private-pay, concierge model — the same way a private chef or a family office isn't billed through insurance. We're happy to provide documentation for HSA/FSA reimbursement where applicable and HSA/FSA may be used at the time of purchasing services, depending on the service providers plans, as we are a legally operating healthcare provider.
-
We're private pay and don't bill insurance. We provide documentation you can submit for HSA/FSA reimbursement, and some plans let you pay with your HSA/FSA card but it is the responsibility of the client to verify that their plan allows for up front payment using HSA/FSA.
-
A private phone or video visit (client’s choice) where you talk and the nurse listens, with no advice or problem-solving unless you ask. Visits are 60 minutes, with 30-minute options in the portal. Imagine being able to vent, but no one will share your most intimate details or use them against you later on. We provide a safe space for all your most intimate details.
